Brandon Barnes is a hot new up and coming rapper based in Atlanta and goes by the name, Black Montana. His stage name came from the neighborhood kids calling him “Black” and “Montana”, from the movie Scarface, after the main character, Tony Montana.

Black Montana was born in Monterey, CA. Shortly after, his family moved to Birmingham, Alabama where he grew up and went on to attend Alabama State College.

Recently signed to the Birmingham Entertainment label by owner Ron Pole, Black Montana just completed his 6th mixtape titled Trap Translator hosted by DJ X-rated and DJ Funky, which features 16 bangers, including the single, Turn Up Is Real, debut at #16 on the Atlanta’s DJ Coalition chart. This song describes how he envisions his life right now. His career is on a roll and he’s on top of every opportunity that comes his way.

He’s taking Atlanta by storm with his recent performances in the hottest strip clubs in the city and has garnered much love from his peers. He’s working hard to capitalize off the buzz he’s created. His increasing popularity and his determination to win will surely lead him down the road to success.
